"It is only by drawing often, drawing everything,
drawing incessantly, that one fine day you discover,
to your surprise, that you have rendered something

in its true character"

                                                  — Camille Pissarro

Drawing skills are an essensial asset to any creative project. The good news is that anyone can learn to draw - it's all about learning how to see. The not so good news is that the learning process takes time, patience  and practice - lots of practice!

Here are 5 tips to help improve drawing skills ~

1. Make drawing everyday a priority ~ Always draw first

2. Start looking at everything in terms of simple shapes - squares, circles, rectangles, triangles

3. Don't get bogged down with details

4. Take breaks...

5. Take the time to look at your work (in progress) from different perspectives (in a mirror or upside down)
